Artist's Comments

Taken on my Maleny Radio Tower shoot, this one was taken in mind to be done as a b&w image from the beginning.

The way that the clouds were sort of hanging around in layers about the mountains I thought left itself to produce an interesting sky when desaturated.

It was windy as fuck and it was actually difficult composing the shot with my telephoto on my tripod, which has now been made wobbly by loosing one of the rubber stoppers in the sand at the beach :(

Anyway, CP probably used, can't remember, GND2 definitely used.

Converted from RAW and adjustments made in Lr2, and then finished with dodging and burning and sharpening in CS3.

Hope you like it, let me know what you think :D

EDIT -->

I forgot to explain the title.
According to aboriginal legends, there is a story which explains the existence and placement of the Glasshouse Mountains... There were some brothers involved, I forget which ones were who, so yeah, this is a guess for the sake of the title!
