Another shot from my morning shoot last week.
Stormy conditions over the ocean created moody light and strong winds whipped the clouds around, allowing even this 4 second exposure to capture some of their movement.
This beach is popular with dog walkers early morning, and this pair of german shephards were walking up ahead of their owner until he whistled. They stopped in their tracks until he caught up. I composed quickly and crossed my fingers that they would hold still for the 4 seconds. And they did!

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactComposition in this beautiful scene is really good, the stormy, dark ocean on the right side with its cool colors and the calm beach on left side featuring mostly warm colors are a nice contrast. Colors are natural and convincing.
The two dogs are an eyecatcher and the shoreline leads the viewer into the picture so I would say this an interesting, well-done image.
As far as my humble opinion counts, the image is great but not perfect. The dark dunes or brushes on the left side are not very spectacular and I would encourage a second, longer exporsure for manual blending - More light on the left side would definitely add a valuable element to this picture.
All in all a great effort by Thomas. Congratulations!
