Golden Sunrise

This sunrise was so magnificent. There were laying and layer of golden clouds stacked on top of each other, just out to see. And you could see huge golden pillars of rain reaching down onto the see, and above, whispy fingers of pink clouds floating up and away.

Considering my unfortuneate choice of location yesterday morning, this was the best I could do with it.

When that cloud formation on the right peaked in terms of its form and light... it started raining.



Polarized sky, for the two extra stops as much as the polarized effect.

Cokin Z-Pro 3 stop grad, Manfrotto tripod and Canon Shutter Release.

Canon 40D and Sigma 10-20mm.
