Good lord...

1 min read
It's been a while - but I finally shot some landscapes!
Should have some new images up soon, first time in like a 100 years or so.

Met up with :iconpsyfre: a couple of weeks ago now - what a great guy!  That makes three people I have become real life friends with after meeting them on this place (:icondrewhopper: and :iconcameron-jung:)

I don't often to features, not enough really, but checking out my friend Ed's :iconpsyfre: recent work, I couldn't help but share!

Ed shoots a range of subjects, though predominantly landscapes in and around the Sydney area, with a D90 and kit lens, as well as a make shift (welders glass) ND filter.  His work is proof that you don't need high end equipment to create amazing photographs.  His skills in blending and panoramas are top notch, especially considering the short(ish) amount of time he's been in the landscape photography game, and it all shows in his work. He's also a top notch friendly and helpful bloke ;).

Some of his work:

Check em out!

In other news... there's not really much other news. Cam (:iconcameron-jung:) is up my way for some R&R and to put his new gear through its paces, and we've had one shoot so far (an afternoon/night climb of Mt Cooroora), and will be shooting some more this week, so expect some new images soon!

Hope everyones having a good week!

just a quick update, nothing really new to report.
i got my motorbike learner license which means that I can ride a motorbike with a superviser (Dad) on roads.  Then after six months I can get a restricted motorbike license.  I'll probably end up riding a trail bike, with the plan being to head out bush on day trips with my gear and really try and shoot some unexplored places! I went riding with Dad the other day just locally and some of the locations we rode (not really accessable by car) where fantastic! So I'm pretty excited about that.

ALSO

Just want to say thank you to everyone who has fav'd and commented my recent work, not to mention any new watchers.  It means a lot to see how many of you guys now like my work enough to give it a fav or add me to your watch list! And it shows! My recent landscape: View of Upper Mount Mellum by eye-of-tom has been in 3rd place on the 24 hour popular landscapes feed, so I'm stoked as about that! I guess I must be getting better :D Thanks a lot

Long time no update, I realise.
Not a whole heap happening, had a great few months off uni, but am back to it now.  Its only been one week and I'm already getting rolled by assessment and study. Should be an interesting semester hah.

As you've probably noticed, I've been out shooting a fair bit lately, which has been fantastic. I've also got a shit-heap of stuff still to be processed/uploaded so even if I'm swamped with uni work soon (likely) and can't get out shooting too often, I'll still have plenty of stuff to upload for you guys!

And now for some recent faves which have caught my eye:
